The Air Force Research Laboratory, Munitions Directorate (AFRL/MN), Eglin AFB FL, intends to competitively solicit offerors to perform Logistics Material Control Activities (LMCA) for the basic period of 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 2000 plus four (4) one-year option periods. Contractor shall provide LMCA Chief functions, administration and training functions, material handling functions, processing requests function, logistics support stocks function, automatic material control systems function, requisitioning commodities from Eglin organizations, and possibly four (4) additive items depending on availability of funds. The LMCA chief must have at least six (6) years experience working in a large-scale computer based logistical support system, three (3) years of generalized experience and three (3)years in a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of the principles and practices of the Air Force supply system, equipment, material management, procurement, material accounting procedures, principles of inventory control, and associated logistics functions is required. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The standard, which is a concern, including its affiliates, will have an average annual sales receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $3,500,000.
