MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION MANAGEMENT. The Commercial Activities Team for the Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York seeks data on current market information in the area of information management. Watervliet Arsenal (WVA)is a U.S. Army installation with the mission to perform manufacturing, industrial and value engineering, procurement, fabrication and product assurance for mortars, recoilless rifles, tank cannon, towed and self-propelled artillery and components of these end items. The purpose of this notice is to identify interest and obtain information from the vendor community about providing information management support and services. Please provide specific costing information such as pricing methodologies, cost measurements, a cost structure and a list of any issues that may drive costs. Please include suggestions on what your firm would consider standard commercial practices if contracted to provide information management support to the Arsenal. You may also include information on areas of interest and on any special services. Information management includes, but is not limited to, datawarehouse maintenance, intranet development, application development, database management, mainframe support. In addition, reporting, scheduling, and maintaining reports generated from legacy systems. Manage systems, network, helpdesk support, procurement and maintenance of hardware, and manage the physical plant including phones, network, fiber and digital telephone system.
