MARKET SURVEY ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE The Commercial Activities Team for the Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York seeks information on current market information in the area of environmental services. Watervliet Arsenal (WVA)is a U. S. Army installation with the mission to perform manufacturing, industrial and value engineering, procurement, fabrication and product assurance for mortars, recoilless rifles, tank cannon, towed and self-propelled artillery and components of these items. The purpose of this notice is to identify interest and obtain information from the vendor community about providing environmental services. Please provide specific costing information such as pricing methodologies, cost measurements, a cost structure and a list of any issues that may drive costs. Please include suggestions on what your firm would consider standard commercial practices if contracted to provide environmental services support to the Arsenal. You may also include information on areas of interest and any special services. The environmental services conducted at this facility include the operation and management of an industrial water treatment plant; management of hazardous wasted disposal and non-hazardous waste disposal and recycling; management of the study and remediation of contamination from previous activities; management of the NEPA program as mandated by AR-200; and management of above ground and under ground storage tanks.
