This is now a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Intent award date is changed to 7 April 1999. Delivery date is changed to 16 April 1999. Any company other than the original manufacturer shall submit evidence that it is authorized by the manufacturer to distribute these products and that the products are covered by the same warranty as the original manufacturer provides. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: (a) The Standard Industrial Code is 3577; the size standard is 1000 employees.
