Mitchell 301/504-8484 DESC: The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to non-competitively negotiate with Seimens Building Technologies, Inc, 11800 Baltimore Ave, Beltsville, MD 20705, to replace the existing Robertshaw Controls with a Direct Digital Control System fully compatible with the existing Landis & Staefa Control Network which currently serves seven building on our Government facility here in Beltsville, MD. The contractor shall remove all controls and valves, replace all control valves and shall replace all sensors not compatible with the new equipment being installed. Control sequence will be attached to the Statement of Work. All work must be performed in accordance with the statement of work, USDA special conditions part II, wage rate MD990057 mod. 0 and applicable clauses. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Only one site visit will be conducted. Site visit is scheduled for April 16, 1999, 10 a.m., at Building 050, BARC-West, Beltsville, Maryland 20705-2350. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the government considering price and other factors. This job is to be completed within 120 days of Notice to Proceed. The Standard Industrial Code will be 1711 with annual business size of 7.0 million. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedure using Best Value. This requirement is unrestricted.
