Florida has a requirement for 2 (two) medical technician positions.
Services to be performed on site. Contractor will provide
medical/administrative technician(s) for the 6th Medical Group in
support of the MacDill 65 Program. Required tasks may be performed in
any or all of the primary care areas under the control of the
applicable MTF primary care service. This solicitation incorporates
provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
(FAC) 97-5 and will be awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation
(FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. Anticipated Award Date
is 29 April 99 and anticipated performance start date is 3 May 99. See
Note 1. The resultant purchase order will be firm-fixed price. FAR
Provisions 52.212-1, 52-212-4, 52.219-8, 52.222-26 52.222-41 are
incorporated by reference. 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items is
incorporated by full text. (a) The Government will award a purchase
order with one (2) two option years resulting from this solicitation to
the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will
be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors
considered. Award will be based on Performance Price Trade off (PPTO).
Technical and past performance are of greater value than price. (b)
Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by
adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic
requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable
if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. (c) A written notice
of award or acceptance of an offer, shall result in a binding contract
without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified
expiration time, the government may accept an offer (or part of an
offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless
a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. Evaluation of
options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the options.
