Dwayne Weaver, Contracting Officer, (703)602-8105, ext. 512 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement for the personnel, facilities, and support services to operate the AEGIS Depot Operations (ADO) and for associated Technical, Engineering and Logistics Services in support of the AEGIS Weapon System/AEGIS Combat System (ACS/AWS). NAVSEA intends to contract with Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems Division (LMGES), 199 Borton Landing Road, Moorestown, NJ on a sole source basis for this requirement which will include approximately 2,000,000 man-hours to be provided over a ten-year period. This procurement will be a continuation of technical, engineering and logistics services currently provided by LMGES under contracts N00024-95-C-5156 and N00104-98-D-G002. The contemplated contract will include supply, repair and maintenance support for AEGIS ships during the shipyard testing period, at AEGIS Land-based sites and the Production Test Centers, and for AWS/ACS Production; engineering and technical services necessary to maintain, repair, test, integrate and modernize systems to improve performance and effectiveness of AWS/ACS on AEGIS ships; administration and management of Navy Furnished Material provided to LMGES for AEGIS Production and Development Programs; technical services necessary to provide training, technical documentation and updates resulting from equipment and computer programming changes; and, spares and repair parts in support of the SPY-1 Radar System to include Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) functions for the AWS.
