The U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY is soliciting for the renovation of the Foreign Language Audio Laboratory. The procurement is a construction and supply combination to include: construction of twelve two-man glass booth enclosures around existing desk units (Government furnished property which will have to be modified), carpeting the floor of booths and room, and applying sound-deadening materials to walls of the booths and room. Contractors will be required to submit their designs, plans, samples, etc. for the construction of the booths, how they intend to sound proof the areas, carpeting recommended (to be supplied by Contractor) and other incidentals. Award will be based on best value. TIME FRAME FOR COMPLETION IS JUNE 1 -- 30, 1999. The applicable SIC code and size standard is 1542/$17 Million.
