It consists of a rolled compacted earthfill dam, excavated open channel emergency spillway, and precast concrete principal spillway conduit and appurtenances. The major items of work include 65,000 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 143,000 cubic yards of compacted earthfill, 71 cubic yards of concrete, 200 linear feet of 30" I.D. concrete pressure pipe, 298 tons of rock riprap, 1,076 cubic yards of drainfill, and 10,000 linear feet of fence.
