The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI has a requirement to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for Penetrator Assemblies, P/N EB2983/2-102 to be installed on SSN 688 Class Submarines with Vertical Launch systems. The units are required to replace failed assemblies. The scope of the task shall be to manufacture twelve (12) Penetrator Assemblies in accordance with Electric Boat Specification #2983. Manufacturing shall be monitored monthly and the Contractor shall provide monthly status reports. Inspection and acceptance shall be Newport, RI upon delivery. The Government plans to issue a request for quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Delivery will be FOB Destination, Newport, RI.
