to contract with McDonnell Douglas Corporation for Additional
Propulsion Engineering Tasks to Support the T-45 Fleet. The engineering
tasks are not included under the Program Sustaining Support CLIN in
Contract N00019-97-C-0059. Tasks on this modification include, but are
not limited to, monitoring NAS Kingsville, TX (NASK) and NAS Meridian,
MS (NASM) engine pass-off test results, developing an Engine
Improvement Roadmap for the Rolls Royce F405-RR-401 Engine and
supporting the commissioning NASK and NASM T-23 test cells. As the
designer, developer and sole integrator of the T-45 Aircraft, McDonnell
Douglas Corporation is the only known source with the experience
necessary to accomplish these tasks and to monitor the impact these
