The USDA, ARS intends to negotiate on a sole-sourse basis a firm fixed price contract to Bruker Instruments, Inc., Manning Park, 19 Fortune Dr, Billerica, MA. The laboratory items must be compatible with existing USDA equipment. The laboratory items will be aquired sole-source as authorized under FAR 6.302-1, Onle One Responsible Source, 41 USC 253 (c) (1). The contractor shall provide one (1) ADVANCE 300 Console package for a Bruker Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer to upgrade the existing model AEX 300 to be Year 2000 compliant.
