The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), San Diego, requires the participation of just-in-time (JIT) vendors who offer an electronic order entry catalog of commercial items for sale to the Government and/or general public in the ordinary course of business. The contractor will be responsible for providing commodity groups to include, but not limited to: office supplies, tools, hardware, restaurant supplies, janitorial supplies, and protective clothing. The Contractor shall have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capabilities for ordering and invoicing. All items shall be delivered next day, pierside/deskside, directly to the end user. End users who will place orders against this contract may be located at various Navy and other military facilities West of the Mississippi. The government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price contract with one (1) Base Year and four (4) One (1) year Options. A Request for Proposal (RFP) document will be released within 30 days from this announcement. Additional information will be provided in the RFP to include: evaluation methodology, pre-proposal conference and site visit. This procurment is advertised and will be negotiated pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 15. This is an unrestricted procurement and represents a follow on to FISC contract N00244-97-D-5005.
