J -- DUCT CLEANING FOR AIR HANDLING UNITS SYSTEM AT THE NAVAL HOSPITAL, MARINE CORPS BASE, CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA SOL N68711-99-Q-6215 DUE 051399 POC Mike Valdez/Contract Specialist (619) 532-1027 This is a Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) not to exceed $100,000.00, issued in accordance with the Small Acquisition Procedures of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 13, which prescribes policies and procedures for the acquisition of supplies and services. This Request for Quotation (RFP) is for all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, travel, transportation, and equipment necessary to provide mechanical duct cleaning for all systems associated with the replaced air handing units (AHUs) at Naval Hospital in Camp Pendleton per specifications section 15999 and NAVFAC Drawing Nos. 8083621 to 8083637. Approximately 54,700 linear feet of ducting requires cleaning. The replaced AHUs are AHU-2, 3, 5, 9, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26. The work includes mechanical cleaning of all existing supply, return, and exhaust ductwork, reheat coils, dampers, diffusers, grilles, and AHUs 23 and 25. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 7349. The small business size standard is $12.0 M. NOTE: There will be an organized site visit on 20 April 1999 beginning at 9:00. Directions to the site visit are detailed in the website.
