Hudson, Contracting Officer, (252)335-6142 The U.S. Coast Guard requires one system-oriented Contractor's Technical Representative for the HU25 (MRS) aircraft for a period of one year with four one-year options. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Falcon Jet Corporation, Teterboro, New Jersey, under authority of FAR 6.302-1. A market survey was conducted by the Coast Guard prior to issuance of this synopsis and the results of the survey supported our determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm. No other company is known to have access to the proprietary data and proprietary drawings necessary to provide the required technical services. The Coast Guard does not possess data relating to this procurement. Falcon Jet Corporation retains proprietary rights. Services to be performed at USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC, 27909-5001 and must begin immediately after contract award.
