The U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for Flight Instructor Services. The requirement is for two fixed-wing flight instructors, two airborne systems flight instructors, and one rotary wing flight instructor for each year. The requirement also necessitates an option for one additional rotary wing flight instructor for each year. The requirement is for a base year plus four one-year option periods commencing on 01 October 1999. Minimum personnel qualifications include: graduate of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School or the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School / equivalent military test pilot school. A Firm Fixed Price, travel reimbursable contract type is anticipated. This requirement is being procured under full and open competition; the appropriate SIC code is 8299 (size standard of $18.5 million).
