Mount Rainier National Park is requesting quotations for demolition and reconstruction of stone chimneys on various Historic Buildings located at Longmire, WA. Work includes documentation of each stone layout and placement, so reconstruction placement is exactly as before demolition. This is required to maintain the historic preservation and integrity of the historic district. Contractor will provide all labor, materials and supplies to complete the jobs in a safe and professional manner. Approximate completion date is July 1, 1999. Contractor must be able to demonstrate through references their ability to do stone masonry. A site visit is scheduled for April 28, 1999, 10 a.m. at the Longmire Administration Building, Longmire, Washington 98397. Site visit attendance must be confirmed by telephone 360-569-2211 ext 3336.
