The work includes: 1) removing and replacing existing concrete in the spillway; 2) furnishing and installing access ladders and associated items at the spillway gate structure; 3) furnishing and installing a spillway outlet portal closure; 4) furnishing and installing a portable generator and concrete enclosure for the portal closure; 5) furnishing and installing chain link gates at the spillway gate structure; and 6) furnishing and installing miscellaneous metalwork to reduce air flow at the spillway gate structure. The estimated price range of the work is $1,000,001 to $5,000,000. The work is located at Seminoe Dam, approximately 70 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming, in Carbon County. Solicitation packages will be available aprroximately April 30, 1999. Bid opening is tentatively set for 2:00 p.m., June 1, 1999, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming. The contract must be completed by no later than March 15, 2000. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional copies will be provided upon receipt of anonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for each copy.
