307-3070 Sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment
and counseling services in the Haverhill, Massachusetts area for the
substance abuse treatment of male and female Federal offenders
(inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes.
A Firm-Fixed-Price Requirements type contract is anticipated with a
two-year Base Period and three one-year option periods. Estimated
number of inmates during the Base Period is 50 (25 inmates each year).
Services for the Base Period will be performed from October 1, 1999
through September 30, 2001. Estimated number of inmates during the
option periods is 25 inmates each year. Services for the option periods
will be performed from October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2004.
Option periods will begin on October 1. The services required for the
Base Period and option periods include: (1) Intake Assessments (one per
inmate); (2) Individual Counseling (30 30-minute sessions per inmate);
(3) Group Counseling (30 30-minute sessions per inmate); (4)Family
Counseling (3 30-minute sessions per inmate). The services described
shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons'
"Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (Non-Residential)/Substance Abuse
Treatment" Statement of Work. The estimated Request For Proposals (RFP)
issue date is o/a April 22, 1999; the estimated RFP closing date is o/a
