The U.S. Geological Survey intends to expand the system capabilities to existing Government owned camera system. Expansion will include a new telemetry system providing compass heading, altitude, depth, and attitude of the towed system to the surface computer. It also will control the operation of the towed systems video and still cameras, lights and strobes. Contractor shall supply the subsea electronics, topside computer interface, control box, and cable harnesses. Topside and subsea electronics packages shall do double duty and serve as the same systems that a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) would use. A RFQ will be issued and anticipated award date is 90 days after receipt of order.
