These items are being procured on sole-source basis IAW FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source. This battery charger was the only item tested which met our requirement to charge the JTIDS battery. Christie Electric Corporation has previously supplied these items to the Marine Corps and makes the standardized battery analyzer-charger used throughout the Department of Defense.
