Inspect and repair nine government owned compressor rotors. These rotors were originally manufactured by A-C Compressor Co. The rotors range in size from 52"-170" long and weigh from 160-18,500 pounds. These rotors have three or four impeller wheels and the impellers are of both riveted and welded construction. The inspection time for each rotor will be approximately six weeks. The repair periods will vary according to the extent of repair required. The contractor will be responsible for all transportation to and from Arnold AFB, TN.
