Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written
quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal
Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-10. The Television-Audio Support Activity
proposes to procure the following: one (1) each Digital Non-Linear

18GB 3.5 inch half height hard drives, Broadcast Electronics P/N
804-9180, eight each rackmount 200MHz Pentium workstations with Windows
NT OS and 17 inch monitor, Broadcast Electronics P/N 808-9215-2NT, four
each desktop 200MHz Pentium workstation with Windows 95 and 19 inch

expenses for contractor installation of the system in Europe, to
include airfare, lodging, meals and expenses incidental to the
installation. The equipment will be FOB Destination, McClellan AFB,
California. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into a
contract on a sole source basis with Broadcast Electronics, 4100 N.
24th Street, Quincy, IL 63205-3606, in accordance with FAR
13-106.2(a)(5), the only source reasonably available. However, all
responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the
agency. Other offeror's quotes shall include specification data
sheets/brochures, etc., sufficient to enable the Government to
determine the capability of the quoter to meet the specifications as
stated in this notice. Responses to this notice must be provided in
writing. Responses may be mailed to Television-Audio Support Activity,

number MDA112-99-Q-0098. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to
Offerors-Commercial Items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items
apply to this acquisition. The SIC Code for this acquisition is 3663,
size standard 750 employees. The evaluation criteria for this
solicitation will consist of technical capability of the offeror to
meet the agency requirement, price and past performance. To be eligible
to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be
registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO
EXCEPTIONS. In order to register, you may apply through the internet
at "http://ccr.edi.disa.mil", you must include your DUNS (Dun &
Bradstreet) number in order to apply. Verification of CCR registration
must accompany your quote. Offerors shall include a completed copy of
the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror
Representations and Certifications-Commercial items, with their offer.
Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and
52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues
or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The
following subclauses under DFARS 252-212.7001 also apply; 252.225-7001,
252.225-7036, 252.227-7015 and 252.247-7024. Text of all clauses

PM PDT, April 12, 1999. Failure to provide any of the required
