This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. RFQ 990042 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The SIC code is, 3661 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. Proposals will only be received from small businesses. Offerors shall provide a price proposal for the following items (no substitutions will be accepted): Item 001-Polycom SoundStation Premier, Non-Expandable, No remote, Mdl 2200-05200-001, QTY. 25 each. Item 002-Polycom SoundStation Premier, with 2 wired Mics, Mdl 2200-00320-001, QTY. 40 each. Delivery NLT June 15, 1999. Offerors shall include their standard commercial warranty. All hardware, software and firmware shall be Year 2000 compliant as defined under FAR Part 39. Delivery is FOB Destination (to Washington, D.C.) with all freight included in the delivered price. The following FAR provisions are applicable to this RFQ : FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52/212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Offerors must include a signed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offers.
