Garceau, Contract Specialist, (570) 547-1641, ext. 541 (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 441-0311. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-10. (iv) This solicitation is set-aside for small business with a Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) of 3669, with a size standard of 750 employees. Other forms referenced herein are required to be completed and submitted with all proposals. (v) The contractor shall provide unit prices for each of the following items: (1) Access Bank, Pulse Inc Model #AB1FXSFXS or equal. Provides conversion of 24 foreign exchange station analog circuits to a DA-1. The unit is AC powered and equipped with a 115 VAC power inverter. Ringing voltage to station devices (telephones, fax machines, etc) is provided on each channel. This is a T1 channel bank. -- QTY 5 EA; (2) Access Bank, Pulse Inc Model #AB1FXFXO or equal. Provides conversion of 24 foreign exchange office analog circuits to a DS-1. The unit can operate in loop/ground start application or dial pulse terminate applications. The unit is AC powered and is equipped with a 115 VAC power inverter. -- QTY 5 EA; (3) Multiplexer/De-multiplexer with rack, Pulse Inc Model #OP4T1ACRST85D, with RM-7 or equal. Four channel FO T1 Multiplexer/De-multiplexer system interfaces to four 100 OHM balanced RJ-48 T1 connectors. Dual redundant composite ports are provided via ST connectors. Dual AC power, with rack mount kit. -- QTY 4 EA. (vi) Contractor is to identify which manufacturer they are quoting and if its an "or equal", please submit the characteristics of the "or equal" product so that the government can check toinsure that it equals the part requested. (vii) The contractor has 30 days after receipt of the award to ship the items to FCI Ft. Dix, Attn: Warehouse, Bldg 5755, Hartford St, Ft. Dix, NJ 08640. THIS IS TO BE FOB: DESTINATION.
