The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a Sole Source Basis from VisiCom Laboratories, Inc., 10052 Mesa Ridge Court, San Diego, CA Performance enhancements and firmware upgrades for government owned boards for VME Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs). Quantities for the enhancements and firmware upgrades are: Item 0001 CCA, VME, MIL-STD-1397, type E, 4002, w/RAM & fairness p/n 530-2017-008 (2) ea; Item 0002 upgrade for p/n 530-2017-008 (3) ea; Item 0003 VMEBUS MIL-STD-1397 E w/on board RAM (2) ea; Item 0004 VMEBUS MIL-STD-1397 ABC w/on board RAM (1) ea; Item 0005 VMEBUS MIL-STD-1397 E w/on board RAM (6) ea; Item 0006 VMEBUS MIL-STD-1397 ABC w/on board RAM (3) ea. These items will be acquired on a sole source basis utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Note 22 applies. The equipment will be used to maintain compatibility for the AEGIS ACTS (AEGIS combat Training Systems) class Cruisers computer programs. The closing date is 06 April 1999 and anticipated award by 09 April 1999 with delivery by 09 June 1999.
