Office of the Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting the services of
a Registered Pharmacist. The Pharmacist will provide non-personal,
comprehensive pharmacy services at the Federal Prison Camp, Pensacola,
Florida. The Pharmacist shall be responsible for all phases of
pharmacy services in conjunction with the Institution's Health Services
practitioners and administrators, to include procurement utilizing the
Prime Vendor (Amerisource computerized ordering), storage,
distribution, products selection (including assuring utilization on
only approved Bureau of Prisons Formulary items) pharmacy security and
maintenance of compliance with all applicable Federal Laws, Bureau of
Prisons Policies, Local Policies and accredeting healthcare
organizations including current Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Healthcare Agencies (JCAHO) Standards and American Correctional
Association (ACA) Standards. The services will be provided for the
inmate population incarcerated at the Federal Prison Camp, Pensacola,
Florida, 32509. The performance period will include a base year and
three (3) one year option periods. Additionally, the contractor will be
required to work a thirty (30 hour work week, with a 30-minute unpaid
lunch period. Solicitation packages may be obtained by written request,
only, to the Contracting Officer. The proposed contract is
