Vanzego, Contract Negotiator, Phyllis McMeekin, Contracting Officer, (202) 219-6445 The U.S. Department of Labor, supportive of the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, has a requirement for a Workforce Recruitement Program,(WRP). This requirement is a Modification to the original Synopsis advertised on March 15th, 1999, (PSA # 2302). The contractor will be required to support program managers in making contacts with employers and prospective employers via telephone to encourage employers to participate in WRP objectives and assist them in using the services of students with disabilities. The contractor shall also be required to support the program manager's efforts involving the duplication, maintenance, updating, and distribution of printed materials and CD-ROMs. This requirement will be included in the Business Leadership Network, (BLN) solicitation document No. RFP L/A 99-08, when issued, as a separate requirement. Two(2) separate contracts may be awarded for this combined requirement, or one(1) contract to include both the (BLN and the (WRP). Interested offerors shall request a copy of solicitation RFP L/A 99-08. Offerors who previously requested a copy of the RFP need not resubmit for additional documents.
