COMBINATION SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR RETRIEVALWARE SOFTWARE This is a combination synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Department of Commerce, National Technical Information Service (NTIS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ: quotes are being requested and a written RFQ will not be issued. SANS900473 is issued as a Request for Quotations. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This requirement is for the upgrade of the currently installed RetrievalWare Software system. The requirement is as follows: LINE ITEM 01 is 1 EACH Perpetual On-Line RetrievalWare License with RDBMS Bridge and Profiling/Categorization Server; LINE ITEM 02 is 1 EACH RetrievalWare Software Development Kit (SDK). No substitutions of requested items shall be allowed. Delivery shall be made within 15 days from Purchase Order award. Items shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination to: U.S. Department of Commerce, NTIS, 5285 Port Royal Road, Springfield, VA 22161. This RFQ is reserved for small business. Applicable SIC Code is 5734. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice shall be provided in writing by the closing date specified above and must contain separate unit pricing for each item required. All responses to this notice shall make reference to Request for Quotation SANS900473. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer. Clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
