The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, manpower, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide janitorial services at the four building USDA Headquarters (HQ) Complex in Washington, D.C. This is a Performance-Based Procurement for the purchase of general janitorial services, including interior and exterior cleaning, snow and ice removal services, utility labor support, trash and debris collection and removal, recycling services, and additional services as required. All services will be provided at the Jamie L. Whitten, Agriculture South, and Agriculture Cotton Annex Buildings (building space approximately 2.7M sq.ft., exterior space approximately 270K sq.ft.). Recycling services, only, will be provided at the Sidney R. Yates Building. Performance of janitorial services will be required Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:00AM and -10:00PM, excluding all Federal holidays. The performance period is one year with four (4) one year options, with an estimated start date of October 1, 1999. The SIC code is 7349 and the applicable size standard is $12 million.
