Y -- REMEDIAL ACTION CONTAIMINATED SOIL EXCAVATION/OFF-SITE DISPOSAL SOL 001095 DUE 051499 POC Patricia DiFranco (973)597-7415 Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation is notifying prospective offerors that a RFP will become available on April 7, 1999 for remediation construction at the Olean Wellfield Superfund Site, Loohn's Dry Cleaners and Launderers Source Area, located in Olean, New York. Bonding will be required with proposals and any resultant award. This action is in response to USEPA Work Assignment No. 013 under the RAC II Contract No 68-W-98-214. Services are required to perform a two-phase excavation and well abandonment activities. The first phase of the excavation will be an open excavation in support of a Cultural Resources Investigation; the second phase will be further excavation with shoring, if necessary, with a portion of the excavation in close proximity to an existing on-site building. Approximately 10 existing monitoring wells throughout the Olean Wellfield Superfund Site will also need to be abandoned in accordance with New York State requirements. Firms requesting a solicitation package must demonstrate prior experience in performing similar activities. Requests for the RFP must be made in writing to Patricia DiFranco (973)597-7415 for her receipt no later than 5:00 est., April 16, 1999. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. Solicitation documents will be provided at a charge of $50 for each set. Payment should accompany the solicitation requests and be made payable to Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation.
