Work also includes all engineering design and construction necessary to either modify existing bridge abutments for bridge placement. Contractor shall also apply a finish coat of concrete to existing abutment faces at Grand Boulevard in the city of Gary, Indiana within the boundaries of Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Contractor will also be responsible for all construction stakes and establishing lines, slopes and grades. Contractor is to also furnish and install a fully engineering clear span pedestrian bridge of steel construction.
