Notice is hereby provided of the Government's intention to procure repairs to an elevated parking deck constructed of concrete and metal decking at the Leo O'Brien Federal Building in Albany, NY. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision. The required work includes concrete sealing, waterproof deck coating, control joint repairs, concrete repairs, and painting. Sealed bidding will be conducted on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This procurement is open to competition among both large and small business concerns. The solicitation will contain a 10% price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns pursuant to FAR 52.219-4. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Standard Industrial Classification code for this project is 1771 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. Copies of the specifications and drawings should be available tentatively April 15, 1999. The cost for each complete copy of the plans and specifications is $45.00.
