RFP R3-WZ-99-18, SIC 1611. This project is for the realignment of Forest Road 302 on the Tusayan Ranger District, Kaibab National Forest, Tusayan, AZ. Work is the construction of 3.2 miles on a new alignment consisting of clearing and grubbing; excavation and borrow excavation; culverts; pit-run aggregate surfacing; pit development; and seeding. From State HWY 64 turn East at Milepost 235.55, at the south end of the community of Tusayan, onto Forest Road 302 and proceed 9.7 miles to the BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT. BONDING IS REQUIRED. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 28, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. MST at the BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT as stated above. This meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended. Estimated start date is June 1999 with 110 calendar days to complete. Issue Date is April 14, 1999, proposals are due at the Kaibab National Forest by close of business May 14, 1999, 4:30 p.m. MST.
