Specific requirements of the imager are as follows (1) operation in the 8-12 micron spectral waveband, (2) ability to detect temperature differences NEDT of 0.1C, (3) Imager array of at least 320x240 pixels, (4) 12-Bit digital data output & (5) remote control via a standard PC interface. (4) & (5) are necessary for interfacing with the imager & with existing SAMRSS control unit. The equipment to consist of IR Camera w/50 mm Lens, Shoulder strap, 2 batteries, battery charger, hard carrying case & AC power adapter.
