The University of California, which operates Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy, solicits Letters of Interest from companies interested in obtaining license rights to commercialize MODIFICATION OF THE SURFACE PROPERTIES OF VARIOUS SUBSTRATES BY ENERGETIC NITROGEN ("Technology"). The Technology comprises a method and apparatus for producing beams of atomic species having a high kinetic energy.
