requirement for paging services that include airtime for nationwide
alphanumeric, nationwide numeric, local alphanumeric, local numeric,
campus numeric, international pagers and a Pagebridge System
maintenance. Mandatory requirements are as follows: a monthly service
charge to include pager and unlimited airtime for each type of pager.
All pagers and all integral equipment associated with the paging
systems/networks be Y2K compliant. The area of local coverage is the
Baltimore metropolitan area, surrounding Maryland counties, Northern
Virginia, Southern Pennsylvania and Washington, DC. The contractor must
have the ability to provide additional pagers (1-200), of all types
including airtime, for short-term projects and events within one week
of notice from SSA. Each pager must have a minimum capacity of 30
messages with memory full notification when memory capacity has been
reached, be able to operate on one single AA or AAA battery, have
audible and vibrating alert modes, have a back-light for easy viewing
in low-light conditions, have low battery alert, have overflow
notification or notify the pager user when the number of unread
messages is greater than the available message memory. Paging service
shall be accessible to all authorized SSA users via toll-free 800
number 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Contractor shall provide
operator dispatch of alphanumeric via toll-free 800 number 24 hours a
day, seven days a week and a internet paging capability via a website
that is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The
contractor must provide a pager replacement program, an electronic
detailed billing and on-site training and support. All other
