SEEKING INDUSTRY INFORMATION CONCERNING A PROVEN AUTO-ADJUDICATION CLAIMS SOFTWARE PACKAGE AdminaStar Federal, which currently is under contract with HCFA for Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, and Durable Medical Equipment claims processing, is seeking information from industry concerning the availability of a proven auto-adjudication claims software package that can operate in both an on-line and batch interface mode with standard Medicare claims processing systems. Responses should include the following: (1) success rate of the auto-adjudication package, (2) number of years system has been running as a COTS (3) system requirements (special hardware, license requirements, capacity limitations) needed to run the claims software package, (4) frequency of maintenance updates, (5) support available, (6) SADBUS/MBE status (7) AdminaStar Federal on-site testing ability statement, (7) Y2K certification statement, and (8) 5 (five) client references.
