The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center has a continuing requirement for wigs for chemotherapy patients under their care. The goal of the mission is to serve the patients satisfactory in terms of wig quality, texture, color, style, fit, care, service delivery and the respect for privacy is the utmost importance. Timely delivery is also an important aspect of the service. Timely delievery shall be within (5) work days of the date of the patient's first appointment with the contractor either in his/her facility or at the patient's bedside. Thereby, the wig shall be available to the patient on the second appointment date. Wigs shall be fitted and of natural hair texture and styles. The contractor will be required for a period of thirty (30) days, to make adjustments in the styling and fitting of the wig originally selected. These are adjustments as directed by the Project Officer and are without additional cost to the Government. The contract duration is anticipated for a period of one (1)year with four sucesssive option years. The estimated quantity of the wigs per year is 850.
