The Corporation for National and Community Service, a wholly-owned Government Corporation, intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide lodging and meeting space for the AmeriCorps Leaders Program's In-Service Training (IST). The IST will occur June 1 -- 5, 1999. Facility must have general session room to accommodate up to 100 persons classroom style and up to six (6) breakout rooms which can accommodate up to 10 people. RECEPTION: On June 1, 1999, in the general session room, at 8:00 p.m. a refreshment table with cookies and juice. SLEEPING ROOMS: SINGLE OCCUPANCY June 1 -- 5, 1999 twelve (12) singles. DOUBLE OCCUPANCY June 1 -- 5, 1999 ten (10) doubles: MEETING SPACES: On June 1 -- 5, 1999, 6 breakout/meeting rooms for 10 participants; one large conference room for 100 participants. Room must be in theater Style each day from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. TRANSPORTATION: Shuttle transportation to and from the major common carrier stations including Airport, Amtrak and Bus stations must be provided for conference participants on the following dates: June 1, 1999 and June 6, 1999. EQUIPMENT: June 1 -- 5, 1999; Overhead projector and screen: TV with VCR; and Flipchart stands. To be considered, bids must include the following information (1) Per night US Government per diem rate for single and double occupancy; (2) charges for meeting space and individual items of audio-visual equipment; and (3) a description of the shuttle service available and any costs associated with shuttle transportation.
