person female dormitory consisting of approximately 26,500 gross square
feet. The building is a single story structure and is to be located in
a dense wooded area. Site work and site utilities will be required for
this project at the Gainesville Job Corps Center located in
Gainesville, Florida. The period of performance from NTP to substantial
completion is 252 days. The estimated cost range of construction is
between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be
available on or about April 22, 1999, ONLY from the Office of Frederick
Lee Vyverberg, AIA Architect 500 N.W. 16th Avenue, Suite 1,

calls will not be accepted. It is emphasized that requests for plans
and specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm listed above to
ensure proper handling of requests. All requests must be in writing and
a $100 bid deposit is required which is refundable when plans and
specifications are returned in good condition. The bid deposit must be
in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or money order and
made payable to the U.S. Department of Labor, and submitted to
Frederick Lee Vyverberg, AIA Architect at the time of request. All
requests will be answered on a first-come, first serve basis until
supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is
exhausted, a non-refundable fee not to exceed the actual cost of
reproduction of the IFB documents (to be determined by the Contracting
Officer) plus a shipping charge based on individual requests (if
applicable) will be required in order to obtain the IFB documents. A
Pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled for May 5, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. local time.
Bid opening date is May 27, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. local time. This is a
100% Small Business Set-Aside Acquisition. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 1542 with a Size
