The work is situated at Parker Dam approximately 20 miles south of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The Parker Dam Powerplant, the Project Offices, and the work site are located in San Bernardino County, California. The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include the following: (1) surface preparation and feathering of existing coatings in areas of the floating bulkhead gate exterior where coating has deteriorated or disbonded; (2) application of the appropriate number of coats of primer and protective coatings for areas of the floating bulkhead gate exterior that adequate surface preparation has been performed. It is estimated that approximately 2,000 square feet of the exterior surface will require surface preparation and application of new coating materials. The areas requiring work are randomly located on the entire surface area and may range in size from 1sq. ft. to 25 sq. ft. The estimated range of construction is $25,000 to $100,000. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote will shall be considered.
