The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential small businesses with the capability and bonding capacity who would be interested in submitting proposals on the Central Indianapolis Riverfront Project in Indianapolis, IN. The Upper Canal project is a three-block extension of the existing canal walk. Work consists of a 50-foot wide concrete lined canal, concrete paved pedestrian walkways on each side of the canal, and a variety of small plazas containing fountains, waterfalls, gardens, and a terminal basin. The SIC Code is 1629 with a small business size standard of $17.0 million. It is anticipated that this project will be a small business set aside. The project is estimated to be between $5 and $10 million. Interested companies need to submit a brief summary (one page) on their firm listing past work experience involving similar type of work with references for each and the project amount, bonding capacity and their ability to meet the requirements above. Please note this is a sources sought notice; therefore, no solicitation is available at this time and no contract award will be made as a result of this notice. Any information submitted is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information that is submitted in response to this sources sought request.
