The U.S. Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit Providence, is requesting information on extruded aluminum structural members designed and manufactured for use as a helicopter landing pad. This product is to be utilized for a landing pad to be installed at ground level on a remote offshore island. The product is required to be easily assembled and capable of supporting a 22,000 lb gross helicopter weight with a 10,000 lb point land. The product should be comparable to Federal Equipment Company's Helimat or HeliSlat landing system which uses extruded lightweight aluminum interlocking members.
