Gauer, Contracting Officer, 520 343-8138 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this request for quotation (RFQ) is 99-SQ-34-0414. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This is a total small business set-aside. The standard industry code is 5084 and the size standard is 100 employees. The contract line items are as follows: Line items (CLIN) 0001 through 0007 are pump parts for an Amsco dredge pump, model AJ272104PHD, 12 x 14 x 43 and shall directly interchange with the original design of the Amsco pump. The parts shall be 600 Brinell hardness Nihard #4. Castings shall be free of sand pockets and other defects. Balancing shall be achieved dynamically and without the useof lead weights. The impeller vane shall not be broken off to achieve balance. The balancing shall be guaranteed for the life of the impeller. These requirements shall also be applied to the 3 vane impeller.
