The US Army Communications-Electronics Command proposes to acquire Spares (various NSNs) for the AN/ALQ-144A(V) and AN/ALQ-144(V). Government Drawings/specifications and other data apply. This acquisition is will result in a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract with delivery orders issued on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis. The method of acquisition will be competitive negotiation and the basis for award will be best value. Deliveries will be to New Cumberland, PA 17070. This aquisition will be unrestricted, full and open competition. In performance of the contract, the contractor will receive and generate classified material and fabricate, modify, or store classified hardware. The RFP will be posted to the CECOM Acquisition Center Business Opportunitis Page (website). However, only offerors possessing secret clearance may receive classified portions of the RFP, submit proposals or become eligible for award. Accordingly, offerors shall submit their request for classified material, in writing from the Contracting Officer, and provide their company's name, full addresss, CAGE Code and phone number. The Government will verify that the company is cleared to receive classified material. Also, unclassified data on CDs and hard copy, not posted to the CECOM Acquisition Center Business Opportunities Page will be provided upon receipt of the offeror's written request. The proposal response date is O/A June 3, 1999.
