All applicable items must be y2k compliant. Written documentation addressing this issue must be provided with the contractor's quote. The requested workstations will be utilized to support the Multiple Unit Link Test and Operational Training System (MULTOTS), the Link-16 AEGIS Broadcast Network (ABN-16) and Distributed Sensor Simulation System (DS3) at the AEGIS Computer Center (ACC), AEGIS Combat System Center (ACSC) and AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC). The MULTOTS, ABN-16 and DS3 systems are highly specialized, critical and essential support tools used by the AEGIS community during tactical data link testing, training and Lifecycle Support Engineering Activity (LSEA) phases of the AEGIS Weapons System (AWS) computer programs. The MULTOTS, ABN-16 and DS3 computer programs have been developed utilizing the Carrera workstations and operate with the AEGIS Weapons System in a realtime environment and therefore has critical timing functions. All realtime computer programs must be developed around the specific equipment due to timing differences, memory access, memory sharing, interrupt processing, etc characteristics that are unique to each manufacturer of computers. The MULTOTS, ABN-16 and DS3 computer programs have been designedaround the Carrera Workstation architecture. These items must maintain compatibility, equipment and computer programs, with existing systems to ensure the ACC and ACSC can support their lifecycle support engineering mission and deliver quality AEGIS computer programs to the fleet. This contract shall be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All contractors shall provide written documentation stating they are authorized to provide these systems from Carrera Computers Inc. All contractors shall provide written documentation addressing what is covered under the 2-year warranty.
