(MEP) Program of the National Institute of Standards & Technology
(NIST) has a requirement for the design and fabrication of a
manufacturing exhibit for the "1999: Year of the Small Manufacturer"
Summit, scheduled for September 1999. The Summit promotes the nation's
small manufacturing enterprises and the their importance to the U.S.
economy and modernization issues. The required exhibit shall highlight
the value and diversity of U.S.- manufactured products. Fabrication of
the exhibit is optional and dependent upon an approved design. Detailed
specifications will be available in the solicitation package. The
required completion date of the fabrication (if the option is
exercised) will be no later than September 15, 1999. This is a 100%
small business set-aside (Standard Industrial Code/SIC is 7389, size
standard is $5.0M). All requests for a copy of the solicitation shall
be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST) at the above address. All potential small business
sources are invited to submit a proposal which will be considered by
