The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington, DC intends to award a sole-source purchase order to HGW & Associates, LLC (12832 Broken Saddle Road, Farragut, TN 37922) on behalf of the Environmental/Safety Department, Naval District Washington. The order is for maintenance of the Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) information management system, which includes data records for all ES&H training received by Naval District Washington (NDW) and tenant personnel. This is a follow-on order for for continuing data base support and web site maintenance. The original order was awarded in 1998 to HGW & Associates, LLC (HGW). Award will be made to HGW & Associates, LLC to (1) update, validate data and generate new queries and reports in the database; (2) update and manage the NDW training standard operating procedure; (3) provide notification of deficiencies with respect to ES&H training requirements and deliverables; and (4) provide support for the ES&Hancillary databases, programs and applications such as web based training for employees and supervisors. The period of performance will be from approx. 6 April 1999 through 18 June 1999. HGW is the only known vendor that can meet the time requirements of this order.
