SRI has developed and published over 20,000 pages of marketing reports on specific segments of the broader and specialty chemical industries. The agency has accepted as standards, data in those reports on both the amounts of food ingredients sold in the U.S. annually, and information on the amounts of polymetric substances used in food packaging. Authority for this non-competitive acquisition is found at 13.106-2 (a) (5). This notice is not a request for quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement. Capability statements must include documentation of an in-depth knowledge and prior experience of this type of work. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the contracting officer.
